These terms govern your use of thefinnect.com (the “Site”), operated by Finnect, 1874 Rue Notre-Dame Ouest, Unit 2, Montréal, Québec H3J 1M6. By using the Site you accept these terms; if you do not accept them, please do not use the Site.

What this Site is, and is not

The Site presents information about Finnect’s marketing services for financial advisors. Nothing on the Site is financial, investment, insurance, tax, legal or compliance advice, and nothing on it creates an advisor-client or professional relationship. Finnect is a marketing agency; we are not a registered dealer, adviser or law firm. Decisions about financial products or regulatory obligations should be made with the appropriate licensed professionals.

Results and illustrative figures

Marketing results depend on many factors outside any agency’s control, including your market, offer and regulatory constraints. Metrics shown on the Site (such as dashboard mock-ups and example figures) are illustrative examples, not promises, and past campaign results do not guarantee future results. Any engagement outcomes are governed by the written agreement for that engagement, not by this Site.

Trademarks

Finnect and its logo are trademarks of Finnect. Names and logos of financial institutions or dealer firms shown on the Site belong to their respective owners; they identify firms whose advisors we work with, and their appearance does not imply sponsorship, affiliation or endorsement of Finnect by those firms.

Intellectual property

The Site and its content (text, design, graphics, video, code) are owned by Finnect or its licensors and protected by copyright and other laws. You may view and share links to the Site; you may not reproduce, modify or exploit its content commercially without our written permission.

Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Site: no unauthorized access attempts, scraping at disruptive volumes, interference with its operation, or use of its forms to send unlawful, deceptive or abusive content.

Third-party sites and tools

The Site links to third-party sites and services (such as scheduling tools and maps). We do not control them and are not responsible for their content or practices; your use of them is governed by their own terms.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The Site is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, availability or fitness for a particular purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Finnect will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site, and our total liability for any claim related to the Site will not exceed one hundred Canadian dollars (CAD $100). Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including under Québec consumer protection legislation where it applies.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Québec and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein. Any dispute relating to the Site will be brought before the courts of the judicial district of Montréal, Québec.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time; the date above reflects the latest revision. Continued use of the Site after changes means you accept the updated terms.
